Missed you, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]! 2 free resources for you and an in person opportunity!

Hey again Reader, it's been a minute.

How ya been? Truthfully, with everything going on lately nationally and globally, I'm finding myself a little discombobulated (technical term). In a time where everything feels so divisive and scary, I'm feeling the pull to lean into community. That said, read on to learn about some free resources for you as well as an opportunity to build community

My aim is to drop into your inbox once a month and provide you resources & helpful info. At the same time, I'm leaning into my 2026 word of the year which is:

SUSTAIN

With that in mind, sometimes I have to let things go and this past few months it was my newsletter. With everything going on, I hope you're also giving yourself some grace in letting some things go when you can.

In the meantime I've been thinking about some ways I can nurture & support this little community I have here. The main thing I'd like to offer is a virtual breathwork and nervous system regulation. Throughout the past decade (closer to 15 years at this point) I've learned the power of harnessing a regulated nervous system in bringing our bodies back to harmony. My goal is to teach some simple breathing and muscle relaxation strategies that can help bring you a small bit of peace when things feel hard, overwhelming or hopeless. You are welcome to join live, have camera on or off, or even just listen in later & follow along if you can't make the time.

Totally free & open to anyone who'd be interested in joining, no strings attached... just a way to give you some strategies I've learned to regulate and calm myself that have been successful for me, my virtual clients and in-person patients. Consider it a thank you for allowing me into your inbox and reading my ramblings.

Okay, now for one more free resource I repped last year and she's doing it again!! For those of you with hypermobility (a common finding for many of us with scoliosis and/ or pelvic floor concerns), my incredible colleague Dr. Melissa Koehl is starting her next cohort of Ground Control, which is intended for those of us with extra bendy joints and connective tissue and how to find stability that's tailored to YOU. Learn about Dr. Melissa's expertise and offerings here.

She's invited me once again to be a guest speaker in the program to talk in depth about the pelvic floor muscles and go over some info that you may have never heard before on why you may struggle with tightness or other symptoms - and some basic exercises to help. She made an amazing Posture Guide in conjunction with the program, available to anyone who signs up for the program wait list, which has some really helpful info to help understand your body better. The Posture Guide is beautiful, thorough & totally free and completely worth the download, trust me. I recommend you go check it out!

And finally, I was invited to speak on scoliosis and pelvic floor as well as pregnancy at the inaugural BioniCon!

BioniCon is a brand new event, made by someone with scoliosis and a spinal fusion, for people with scoliosis and spinal fusion! Read more about the founder, Meredith Montana, here. It'll be a weekend event April 17th-19th in Philadelphia, PA. I am so excited to get to be in the room with so many other people who understand the scoliosis and spinal fusion experience, particularly since I spent such a long stretch of my life feeling completely alone with it...

Check it out at this website for more information! Would love to meet you in person!

Okay I know this was a long one, but I wanted to share all these things with you! As a reminder, the free Calming Your Inner Storm Masterclass is next Sunday and you'll need to sign up for BioniCon by March 31st! So don't sleep on any of these!

Hope to see you at the Masterclass! Sending love from Atlanta,

Hey there, Reader... been a while since I've written ya. Not on purpose by any means, believe me. I really do hope you're doing well. To be honest with you, this year has been difficult for me, in many ways. Between full-time patient care out of two locations, trying to be a present parent for two school-aged kids with all their activities, and managing my chronic conditions I've found myself wholly unable to do so many of the things I aspire to do for you and anyone who trusts me to provide...

Hello again, just a last minute reminder to anyone who was wanting to sign up for the free nervous system regulation masterclass tomorrow. Totally free & open to anyone who'd be interested in joining, no strings attached, no sales pitches at the end... just a way to give you some strategies I've learned to regulate and calm myself that have been successful for me and the people I've worked with over the past 14 years. A calmer, more regulated nervous system is more resilient to the stressors...

Hey Reader, hope you're doing great! I don't know about you; personally I always find myself getting introspective as the holiday season comes to an end. I always get a bit weepy feeling when my family packs up our Christmas decorations, as my kids keep growing older (the nerve!) and the magic changes each year. As I contemplate how to live 2026 well, I've gotten super intentional about how to nourish and support my body and its unique needs (for me, autoimmune disease, severe scoliosis and...
