Hey there, Reader... been a while since I've written ya. Not on purpose by any means, believe me. I really do hope you're doing well. To be honest with you, this year has been difficult for me, in many ways. Between full-time patient care out of two locations, trying to be a present parent for two school-aged kids with all their activities, and managing my chronic conditions I've found myself wholly unable to do so many of the things I aspire to do for you and anyone who trusts me to provide...

Hey Reader, hope you're doing great! I don't know about you; personally I always find myself getting introspective as the holiday season comes to an end. I always get a bit weepy feeling when my family packs up our Christmas decorations, as my kids keep growing older (the nerve!) and the magic changes each year. As I contemplate how to live 2026 well, I've gotten super intentional about how to nourish and support my body and its unique needs (for me, autoimmune disease, severe scoliosis and...

Holy moly, Reader... I blinked and it's August!?! [Insert surprised gif here] I wanted to start off by thanking everyone who sent me encouraging words after my last email. I really do love when you respond to my emails and give me advice/ tell me what you think/ ask questions. The Columbia scoliosis presentation went pretty well (I think). I was only a few seconds over my 7 minute time limit - better than some of my fellow presenters, which made me feel good. Guess I wasn't the only one who...

Hey Reader, greetings from what feels like the Pacific Northwest. It's been raining nonstop in Georgia for the past few weeks. Have you ever had to summarize the hardest experience of your life into bullet points for an international audience? ... Because if you have, I'd love your insights.
